Cateringwaale respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal, business and operational information entrusted to us.

This Privacy Policy explains how Cateringwaale and the mobile applications covered below access, collect, use, store, process, disclose, retain, protect and delete information when customers, restaurant and merchant partners, authorised staff and delivery partners use our services.

Cateringwaale and the applications covered by this Privacy Policy are operated by **KSJ Recruitment Private Limited**.

This Privacy Policy applies to the following mobile applications and related services:

These applications are collectively referred to as the **“Cateringwaale Applications,” “Applications,” “Platform”** or **“Services.”**

By accessing or using any Cateringwaale Application or related service, you acknowledge the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

## 2. Scope of This Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to:

– Customer registration, login and profile management

– Address detection, serviceability checks and saved delivery addresses

– Restaurant, menu and service discovery

– Customer orders, order history, offers and support

– Restaurant and merchant onboarding

– Business, outlet, menu, staff and order management

– KOT and authorised printer configuration

– Delivery-partner onboarding and verification, where enabled

– Delivery assignment, navigation, order-status updates and proof of delivery

– Location-dependent customer, outlet and delivery functions

– Notifications and order fulfilment

– Payments, settlements and related transaction records, where enabled

– Related customer service, dispute-resolution and communication services

– Cateringwaale webpages linked from the Applications

This Privacy Policy does not replace any separate customer terms, restaurant-partner terms, delivery-partner terms, commercial agreement or legal obligation applicable to a user or registered business.

## 3. Information We Collect

The information collected depends on the Application, the user’s role, the permissions granted and the features used.

### A. Account and Authentication Information

We may collect or process:

– Registered mobile number

– Mobile number in national and international format

– Name and profile information

– Email address, when provided

– Firebase Authentication user identifier

– Internal customer, business, outlet, staff or driver identifier

– Account type, role, status and approval status

– Login and device-session information

– OTP verification status

– Date and time of account creation and updates

– Security, suspension and account-recovery records

The Applications may use phone-number authentication. OTP verification may be processed using Firebase Authentication or another authorised authentication provider. We do not collect or store the contents of a user’s SMS inbox.

### B. Customer Information

When a person uses Cateringwaale Customer, we may collect or process:

– Customer name

– Registered mobile number

– Email address, when provided

– Profile photograph, when voluntarily uploaded

– Saved addresses and address labels

– House, flat, floor, street, landmark, area, city, state and pincode

– Approximate or precise geographical coordinates associated with a selected or saved address

– Search queries, cuisine or service preferences and selected filters

– Favourite or saved restaurants, services or items, where enabled

– Cart contents and item customisations

– Order requirements, instructions and delivery notes

– Order history, cancellation information and support records

– Offer, coupon, referral or credit information, where enabled

Customer information is used to provide relevant services, confirm serviceability, process and fulfil orders, communicate order updates and provide customer support.

### C. Restaurant, Merchant and Business Information

When a restaurant, merchant, owner, authorised representative, manager or staff member uses CW Partner, we may collect or process:

– Owner or authorised representative’s name

– Profile photograph

– Primary and alternate mobile numbers

– Email address

– Role and relationship with the business

– Business and operational contact details

– Manager or authorised SPOC information

– Legal business name

– Customer-facing outlet name

– Business ID and outlet ID

– Business type and category

– Business and outlet addresses

– Pincode and geographical coordinates

– Property ownership, rental or authorisation information

– Outlet operating hours and availability

– Outlet photographs, logo and location photographs

– Outlet contact numbers

– Business approval and operational status

Approved customer-facing information—such as the outlet name, logo, general address area, menu, operating hours, photographs and availability—may be displayed to customers through Cateringwaale services.

### D. Delivery-Partner and Driver Information

When a delivery partner uses Cateringwaale Driver, we may collect or process, where applicable:

– Driver or delivery-partner name

– Registered and alternate mobile number

– Email address, when provided

– Profile photograph or identity photograph

– Driver ID and account status

– Date of birth or age-confirmation information, where required

– Residential or correspondence address

– Availability, online or offline status

– Assigned delivery zone or operating area

– Vehicle type, make, model and registration number

– Driving-licence information

– Vehicle-registration, insurance or pollution-certificate information

– Identity, address and eligibility-verification information

– Approval, suspension and verification status

– Delivery history, performance and operational records

– Earnings, incentives, deductions and settlement records, where enabled

Driver information is used for onboarding, identity and eligibility verification, delivery assignment, order fulfilment, safety, fraud prevention, settlement, support and legal compliance.

### E. Verification and Compliance Information

Depending on the user’s role and applicable requirements, we may collect information or documents such as:

– FSSAI licence details and documents

– PAN information

– GST information, where applicable

– Udyam registration information

– Shop Act or business-registration documents

– Aadhaar or other identity-verification documents, where lawfully required

– Driving licence

– Vehicle-registration and insurance documents

– Address proof

– Property ownership, rental or authorisation documents

– Utility bills

– Fire NOC or pest-control documents when voluntarily provided

– Document issue, start and expiry dates

– Verification, rejection and approval status

Verification documents are used for onboarding, eligibility verification, fraud prevention, compliance and platform safety. They are not used for unrelated advertising.

### F. Bank, Payment and Settlement Information

Where payment, refund, settlement or payout services are enabled, we may collect or process:

– Account-holder or beneficiary name

– Bank name

– Account number

– IFSC code

– Branch information

– Cancelled-cheque or bank-verification document

– Payment method type

– Order amount, taxes, charges, discount and refund information

– Payment, settlement or payout status

– Transaction, gateway, settlement and reconciliation references

– Driver earnings or partner-settlement information, where applicable

Payment-card, UPI or banking transactions may be processed by authorised payment-service providers. Unless expressly stated within a feature, Cateringwaale does not directly store full payment-card credentials. We do not publicly display private bank information.

### G. Staff and Delegated-Access Information

When a business owner invites or manages staff through CW Partner, we may collect:

– Staff or invitee name

– Mobile number

– Assigned role

– Assigned outlet IDs

– Permission settings

– Invitation, acceptance and access status

– Access suspension or revocation details

– Audit information relating to permission changes

Business owners are responsible for ensuring that they are authorised to provide staff information to Cateringwaale.

### H. Menu, Catalogue and Outlet Information

We may process:

– Menu categories, items, descriptions and prices

– Food type, variants, add-ons and availability

– Food photographs and related media

– Outlet timings, scheduled closures and availability settings

– Restaurant, service and catalogue configuration

– KOT, billing and operational settings

Approved menu, catalogue and outlet information may be made available to customers through the Platform.

### I. Order, Delivery and Operational Information

We may collect or process:

– Order identifier and order contents

– Customer and delivery information necessary to fulfil an order

– Restaurant, outlet and pickup information

– Assigned driver or delivery-partner information

– Pickup and delivery addresses

– Order instructions and delivery notes

– Order acceptance, preparation, readiness, pickup, delivery and completion status

– Cancellation, failed-delivery and refund information

– Status-update timestamps

– Route, distance and estimated-arrival information, where enabled

– Proof of pickup or delivery, including photographs, confirmation codes or recipient confirmation, where enabled

– Customer, restaurant and driver communications relating to an order

– Operational activity, dispute and audit records

Restaurant partners and delivery partners must use customer information only for preparing, delivering and supporting the relevant order. They must not use customer information for unrelated marketing, unauthorised contact or any purpose outside the assigned order.

### J. Photos, Camera and Uploaded Files

With permission, one or more Applications may access:

– Camera

– Photo gallery

– Images, documents or files selected by the user

This access may be used to upload profile photographs, outlet photographs, food images, licences, identity or verification documents, vehicle documents, bank documents, support screenshots and proof of pickup or delivery.

The Applications are not intended to access photographs or files that a user has not selected or captured through an authorised Application flow.

### K. Location Information

With permission, we may collect precise or approximate location information for the following purposes.

#### Cateringwaale Customer

– Detect the customer’s current area or selected location

– Check serviceability

– Help the customer create or confirm a delivery address

– Display relevant nearby restaurants, outlets or services

– Calculate distance, delivery availability and estimated delivery information

– Support order fulfilment and delivery tracking

#### CW Partner

– Detect or verify a business or outlet location

– Position an outlet pin on a map

– Validate an address and service area

– Support customer discovery and delivery operations

– Prevent location-related misuse

#### Cateringwaale Driver

– Determine driver availability and location for delivery operations

– Assign or display relevant delivery tasks

– Navigate between pickup and delivery locations

– Share delivery progress with authorised order participants, where enabled

– Calculate route, distance and estimated arrival

– Verify pickup, delivery and completion events

– Support driver safety, dispute resolution and fraud prevention

Depending on the Driver Application version, device settings, operational status and permissions enabled, location may be processed while the Application is visible or while it is running in the background when a driver is online, available or completing an active delivery assignment. Where a version requests background-location access, a prominent in-app disclosure and an affirmative permission request must be presented before such access begins.

We do not sell precise location information or use it for unrelated third-party advertising. Users can control location permissions through device settings, although denying or withdrawing permission may prevent location-dependent features from functioning.

### L. Device, Network, Usage and Technical Information

We may collect or process:

– Device type and operating-system version

– Application name and version

– Firebase installation identifier or notification token

– IP address and network information

– Device-session and security identifiers

– Login and security logs

– Screens or features accessed and important in-app actions

– Error, performance, crash and diagnostic information

– Date, time and result of important Application actions

For KOT and printer setup, CW Partner may process printer-related information such as:

– Printer name, brand and model

– Bluetooth device name or identifier

– Local-network IP address

– Printer port

– Printer role and configuration

– Printing and test status

Printer discovery and communication may require Bluetooth, nearby-device, local-network or internet permissions. Local printer information is used only to configure and operate authorised restaurant printers.

### M. Notifications

With permission, the Applications may use notification tokens to send:

– OTP, account and security alerts

– Business-onboarding and approval updates

– New-order and order-status notifications

– Delivery-assignment and delivery-status notifications

– Service, support and operational communications

– Offers or promotional notifications where permitted and enabled

Users can manage notification permission through their device settings and, where available, Application preferences.

### N. Communications and Support

When a user contacts us or another authorised order participant through a supported service, we may collect the user’s name, contact details, account or business details, order or driver identifier, message contents, screenshots and other information needed to investigate and respond.

## 4. How We Use Information

We use information, as applicable, to:

– Create, authenticate, maintain and secure accounts

– Verify registered mobile numbers and user roles

– Provide customer discovery and address-management features

– Determine serviceability and display relevant outlets or services

– Process, prepare, assign, deliver and support orders

– Register and verify restaurants, merchants and delivery partners

– Review onboarding applications and verification documents

– Manage businesses, outlets, menus, staff and delegated access

– Display approved outlet, menu and service information to customers

– Generate KOTs, bills and operational records

– Configure authorised printers and notification services

– Assign delivery tasks and support navigation

– Provide authorised live-delivery progress and estimated arrival information

– Process payments, refunds, earnings and settlements, where enabled

– Send order, delivery, account, approval, support and security notifications

– Provide customer service and resolve complaints or disputes

– Detect fraud, misuse, duplicate accounts and security threats

– Maintain audit, safety and compliance records

– Improve Application reliability, performance and usability

– Analyse service performance using aggregated or appropriately protected information

– Comply with applicable laws, lawful requests and regulatory obligations

– Enforce platform terms and protect customers, partners, drivers and Cateringwaale

We do not sell personal information.

## 5. Permissions Used by the Applications

Permissions vary by Application, device, operating-system version and feature used.

### Cateringwaale Customer May Request

– Location permission for area detection, address selection, serviceability and delivery-related features

– Notification permission for account, order and delivery updates

– Camera or photo access where profile, support or another user-initiated upload feature is provided

– Internet access for Platform connectivity

### CW Partner May Request

– Camera permission for capturing food, outlet and document images

– Photo or file access for selecting images and documents

– Location permission for outlet mapping and verification

– Notification permission for order and account alerts

– Bluetooth or nearby-device permission for printer discovery

– Local-network and internet access for printer and Platform connectivity

### Cateringwaale Driver May Request

– Precise or approximate location permission for assignment, navigation, delivery progress and completion verification

– Background-location permission only where an active operational feature requires it and the required disclosure and consent have been provided

– Notification permission for delivery assignments, order updates and account alerts

– Camera or photo access for profile, verification or proof-of-delivery uploads

– File access for user-selected verification documents, where enabled

– Internet access for order, map, notification and Platform connectivity

Permissions can be managed through device settings. Denying or withdrawing a permission may disable the related feature.

## 6. How Information Is Shared

We disclose or make information available only where reasonably necessary to operate the Services, fulfil user requests, protect the Platform or comply with law.

### A. Customers, Restaurants and Delivery Partners

Limited order-related information may be made available to authorised participants in an order:

– A restaurant may receive the customer’s name, order, delivery address, delivery instructions and necessary contact information.

– An assigned delivery partner may receive the pickup location, delivery address, recipient name, necessary contact information, order instructions and confirmation details.

– A customer may receive relevant restaurant information and, where enabled, limited assigned-driver information, delivery status and live-delivery progress.

– A restaurant may receive limited assigned-driver information and delivery status needed for handover and fulfilment.

Private verification documents, bank records and unrelated account information are not made available to customers or other order participants.

### B. Authorised Business Users

Information may be available to business owners and authorised staff according to their assigned roles, outlets and permissions.

### C. Technology and Service Providers

We may use authorised providers to operate the Applications and Services, including:

– Google Firebase Authentication

– Cloud Firestore

– Firebase Cloud Storage

– Firebase Cloud Functions

– Firebase Cloud Messaging

– Google Maps and related location or navigation services

– Payment, refund or settlement providers, where enabled

– Hosting, security, communications, diagnostics and infrastructure providers

These providers may process limited information on our behalf according to their applicable terms, security commitments and privacy obligations.

### D. Operational and Support Partners

Where necessary to provide a requested service, limited information may be shared with authorised restaurant, delivery, payment, settlement, verification, customer-support or professional-service providers.

### E. Legal and Safety Requirements

We may disclose information when reasonably necessary to:

– Comply with applicable law, court orders or lawful government requests

– Protect the rights, safety and security of users or the public

– Investigate fraud, abuse, unauthorised activity or security incidents

– Enforce agreements and Platform policies

– Establish, exercise or defend legal claims

### F. Business Reorganisation

If Cateringwaale or its operating entity is involved in a merger, restructuring, acquisition or transfer, information may be transferred subject to appropriate confidentiality, notice and legal safeguards.

We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties for monetary consideration, and we do not share personal information for unrelated third-party advertising.

## 7. Data Storage and International Processing

Information may be stored or processed using secure cloud infrastructure operated by service providers such as Google Firebase.

Some service-provider infrastructure may operate outside the user’s state or country. Where cross-border processing occurs, we take reasonable steps designed to ensure that information remains subject to appropriate contractual, technical and legal safeguards.

## 8. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect information, including:

– Authentication and access controls

– Role-based permissions

– Restricted access to verification and bank documents

– Secure cloud and transmission controls where supported

– Audit and operational records

– Input validation and fraud-prevention measures

– Account and session-security controls

– Monitoring, backup and recovery measures, where applicable

Information transmitted to supported cloud services is intended to use secure connections such as HTTPS/TLS. Certain device-level or local-network functions—such as Bluetooth or LAN printer communication—may use protocols controlled by the device, printer or local network.

No electronic system, storage method or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Users must protect their devices, OTPs and account access and must not share authentication information with unauthorised persons.

## 9. Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary to:

– Provide the relevant Cateringwaale Services

– Maintain an active customer, business, staff or driver account

– Complete orders, deliveries, refunds and settlements

– Maintain order, delivery and transaction history

– Meet legal, tax, accounting and regulatory obligations

– Resolve complaints, disputes, safety incidents or payment issues

– Prevent fraud and misuse

– Enforce agreements

– Maintain security and audit records

Location and delivery records are retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for order fulfilment, operational review, safety, fraud prevention, dispute resolution and legal or audit requirements.

When information is no longer required, it may be deleted, anonymised or securely archived according to applicable law and operational requirements.

Certain transactional, compliance, settlement, fraud-prevention, dispute, safety and legal records may be retained after account deletion where retention is required or permitted by law. Retained information will be restricted to the relevant purpose and period.

## 10. Account and Data Deletion

Customers, restaurant or merchant users, authorised staff and delivery partners may request deletion of their account and associated personal information.

Where an in-app account-deletion option is available, a request may be initiated through the relevant account, profile or settings section. An external deletion request can also be submitted by email.

For security, we may verify the requester’s identity and authority before processing the request.

After verification, we will delete or anonymise personal information that is no longer required. Information that must be retained for legal, tax, accounting, settlement, fraud-prevention, safety, dispute-resolution or regulatory purposes will be securely restricted and retained only for the necessary period.

Deleting an account may affect active orders, linked outlets, staff access, delivery assignments, settlements and related operations. Where reasonably necessary, we may contact the requester to resolve an active transaction or confirm the effect of deletion before completing the request.

## 11. Your Rights and Choices

Subject to applicable law, users may request:

– Access to eligible personal information

– Correction of inaccurate information

– Updating of account, business, vehicle or contact information

– Withdrawal of optional consent

– Restriction or deletion of eligible information

– Information about how personal information is processed

– Review of a privacy-related grievance

Users can also control location, camera, notification, Bluetooth, nearby-device and file permissions through device settings. Withdrawal of permission does not affect processing already lawfully completed and may prevent the related feature from functioning.

## 12. Children’s Privacy

CW Partner and Cateringwaale Driver are intended for restaurant owners, authorised business representatives, staff and delivery partners who are at least 18 years old. They are not intended for children.

Cateringwaale Customer is not designed to independently collect personal information from children. A person below the age legally permitted to enter into transactions should use the Service only under the supervision and authorisation of a parent or lawful guardian.

We do not knowingly create restaurant-partner or driver accounts for children. If we learn that a child’s information has been provided without lawful authorisation, we will take reasonable steps to delete or appropriately restrict it.

## 13. Third-Party Services and Links

The Applications may contain links to or integrations with independent websites, payment services, maps, navigation applications, communication services or other third-party services. Their privacy practices are governed by their own terms and policies.

Cateringwaale is not responsible for the privacy practices of independent third parties acting for their own purposes. Users should review the relevant third-party privacy terms before using those services.

## 14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our Applications, services, technology, legal requirements or business practices.

The updated version will be published on this page with a revised **“Last Updated”** date. Material changes may also be communicated through the Applications or another reasonable method.

Continued use of the Services after an update becomes effective constitutes acknowledgement of the updated Privacy Policy, subject to any consent required by applicable law.
